Currently gobsmacked because ever since my dx of severe osteopenia 3 yrs ago, I've been working hard with exercise programs, better diet, & calcium/D supplements...and it worked! My bone density is so much better now. I'm proud of me. lol 🥰

I received a radiology report that said I had "paratesticular osteopenia." This was surprising for many reasons, starting with the fact that it was a hand x-ray. (They meant "periarticular osteopenia.") I told my mother, and she would randomly ask how my hand testicles were doing and then cackle.

Got a positive report from my new endrocrinologist. My infusion and extra supplements have turned the tide a bit on the bone loss in my spine and hip.
I'm no longer charted as having osteoporosis, but now osteopenia. Significant from where I was and points to continuing on the present plan.

i already have osteopenia. for all the "oh no we have to save the trans kids from bad bone health!" i was basically left with no option except to choose between osteopenia or continuous pain, hemorrhaging, and destruction of my joints.
