so what it seems to be is that i have PDID and can't fully change who is fronting. But we can sort of go co-concious which would explain our mood swings.

Like- with my PDID, my ability to do things actually fluctuates depending on who's fronting and I am notorious for getting wildly different results on the same aptitude tests because of it.

Like- not to get too into it but my PDID genuinely affects how I experience gender.

We have some extremely feminine alters. We also have some extremely masculine ones. And we have one that doesn't even have a gender.

Tatsächlich sogar seit diesem Jahr glaub ich buchbar aber wie immer hängt die IT hinterher weil wer konnte damit schon rechnen.

Deswegen bekomme ich auch meine pDID Diagnose noch nicht. Weil die das schlicht nirgends eingeben können und die Kassen rechnen das dann auch nicht ab.

yea, i was rly surprised I haven't heard of it before! I was looking up osdd and I saw pdid in the same article and was like "huh wow this fits very well" and it is very validating. For years I've pondered what plurality is to me, bc everyone seems to experience it much differently..

@annoyingfandragon • 13h ago I have DID and I actually really like interpreting Jinx and Powder as a DID system, just as a headcanon cause some of their experiences are pretty relatable to me. Powder was their host when they where a child, and after episode three the trauma of everything that happened became too much for her to process so they dissociated from it, and Jinx was formed as a protector for Powder, to shield her from everything. Jinx is confident and uncaring about people around her, she embraces this identity that was put on them and turns it into power to keep them safe. I also like interpreting some of their hallucinations of mylo, claggor, and silco as introjects (again, partly because my system has a lot of introject too). They couldn't process the deaths of their friends and family, they cant leave them behind, so they are literally haunted by them. I imagine mylo would be like a persecutor, constantly criticizing them, becoming a vessel for all their guilt and self hatred. Like was said in the video, Jinx doesn't exactly fit perfectly into real life DSM criteria, shes a character who is a product of her story, and characters and stories are made for interpretation. There's no right or wrong answer to if Jinx has DID or not unless the actual creators of the story confirm one way or another. @annoyingfandragon • 13h ago There are actually multiple moments in the show, mostly in season one, that could easily be interpreted as powder switching with jinx. The one i remember best is when she first saw Vi again after the time skip. @annoyingfandragon • 13h ago (edited) Fun fact, there's actually something called partial DID where there is one dominant identity who is always in control and the other identities who is always in control and the other identities are just in their head. The main differences between that and schizophrenia would be PDID doesn't involve delusions, and any experience of hearing or seeing the other identities would be internal like hearing your own thoughts or daydreaming is. With proper hallucinations it seems like the voices or experiences are external, coming from outside your body. @annoyingfandragon • 1 min ago @ in season two they start developing a new unnamed host identity who is more avoidant, she wants to separate herself from problems and conflict entirely and live a normal life with Isha. She has a more subdued personality and body language which could be interpreted as just depression, but i dont see it that way because she actually seems to feel better during her time with isha even if they still have a lot of issues under the surface. You can see that the way they act during the jailbreak is very different than usual, like they've forgotten how to be jinx, but then jinx comes back a bit during the finale. Jinx is their competent fighter, powder is their unstable trauma holding little, and this new person is a more traditional host that is better with people but not so good with fighting. I also interpret her conversation with silco in stillwater as DID, especially because it

While it can happen to me more frequently than it says is a trait for pdid, but there def are the times when a couple different parts of myself take greater control, otherwise it feels like a bit of co-consciousness that can feel so fluid that it's hard to catch when it's happening
