BRUTAL: Producer Price Index (PPI) surges to 3.3% YoY in July, far exceeding expectations. Core PPI up 3.7%. Trump’s tariffs on imports are driving up wholesale costs, signaling even higher prices for consumers.

This is bad!

Wholesale prices just spiked way above expectations. PPI up 0.5% in one month, core PPI up 0.7% when experts expected 0.3%.

Translation: costs that hit companies are climbing fast, and they do not magically disappear. They get passed straight to you and me.

Trump’s been denying the affordability crisis. Meanwhile, January PPI just came in hotter than expected at 2.9% YoY / core 3.6%. Data don’t lie.

The US Labor Department announces it has cancelled the October PPI inflation report. Trump is refusing to show just how bad he's made everything.
U.S. layoffs set to surpass the Great Recession levels, on track to be worst since Great Depression. Spectre of economic collapse looming. Food lines growing longer across every region. Millions unable to afford basic medication or housing. Next year promises to be worse.
