the most terrifying thing on skin deep was opening up the spreadsheet that was the single source of truth for all the game's strings, trying to ctrl+f for something, and accidentally overwriting a cell somewhere because it fucking snatched focus away from the search field mid-pageload

My ultimate goal here is to increase revenue from other sources so the ads never get like they have been for the last few years, where your computer freaks out and the pageload time is multiple seconds. That was a temporary measure when covid killed the market, which was never removed.

I like NextJS quite a bit, but also can't figure out why I'm sending 28+ auth requests to Supabase on every pageload...

pageload with browser cache disabled after the cdn has cached the gif, the placeholders don't really show up at all

The more of those trackers you block, the more you stop those companies from assembling a profile of your online activity. I just started using my device for the day about an hour and a half ago and here's my tracker blocking log. The screen shows a single pageload!

I deleted FB from my phone (it took me a while to figure out) and my site pageload stats tanked, along with my ad revenue. I don't think this is a coincidence.
