Les vacances sont une excuse moyenne pour un mois maigre duquel se détache sans mal The Strangers et Powaqqatsi. Du coup, je rajoute une mention au bancal Body Parts qui s’avère un des films américains les plus timbrés que j’ai vu depuis un moment (c’est niveau Malignant dans l’esprit)

Some folks would say that Powaqqatsi and Naqoyqatsi are crucial to understanding where Doom is coming from, but I think that's something that'll factor more into Secret Wars. We can keep it to Koyaanisqatsi for now.

As I settle into middle age, I find myself listening to film scores and getting genuinely excited by individual tracks, like this morning Phillip Glass’s “Serra Pelada” from “Powaqqatsi” came on shuffle and i unironically was like “Oh shit, starting off *strong* today”
