All Wonkette readers are MAD OCTOGENARIANS.
My elderly neighbor who was in her mid 80s and a staunch feminist (died a year ago) loved Wonkette so much she sent me articles damned near ever day. ❤️

Facts about publishing:

1. Publishers reject books without reading them.
2. Agents reject books without reading them
3. Newspapers review books without reading them.

These people think they're more important than genuine readers. They're not.

NOTHING is more vital to a book than genuine readers.

33. THE BOOK OF LOVE by Kelly Link. I've raved about this book a lot but it continues in my high esteem because of how *correct* it remains: love, love, love. Do what you love, write what you love, love who you love, be someone who you yourself can love. This book is proof, with its heart so big!

Can't be bothered to read the article. I know it's not true. The journalist who wrote it knows it isn't true. The editor knows it's not true. Shit, probably even the readers know.
Blue wave in America, same shite in the UK.

If you publish experimental fiction, I emplore you to understand that publishing in shitty formats in tiny type will ensure a lack of readers. Similarly, not doing the basics of PR right will lock in a lack of readers. Then it becomes self fulfilling: Experimental fiction doesn't sell.

This is a completely shit description of what when on in this race, and a disservice to your viewers and readers

And wrong. El-Sayed never shouted at him and remained calm throughout the whole exchange, and never actually said "I don't care about the UK".

Two inventions the Torygraph put in there to inflame their readers.
