none of the raceswapping being discussed is turning characters latine or indigenous, though; it's turning them white. & it's not racist to treat raceswapping white characters into poc differently than the reverse, any more than DEI efforts or a lack of a white pride month are racist.

I don't know if you're just being purposefully obtuse but raceswapping characters is extremely common in both direction. See the aforementioned Brazilian Miku and all the variants thereof. I would also not call black characters having scant representation. They are the most represented group of poc.

It is 100% racist and hypocritical to make allowances for raceswapping to only apply one way.
I would be deeply offended if someone turned all characters black just as the same as if they were all turned white. Fields of Mistria also has a lot of PoC rep compared to any other.
