Due to the constant stress on the instability of the online space for nsfw artists, I'm also considering getting a RealJob™ and keep art as a hobby - unless I can pull better numbers. I can't pimp my stuff, get better, keep deadlines and pay my bills whilst my carefully built networks collapse.

Ray shattered her leg rescuing a hiker who'd fallen onto a ledge during a hike gone wrong. The recovery was long and painful. The hiker lived.

Got some scriptwork done before heading to realjob—like four or five paragraphs? Read each aloud to myself a few times as I went and I'm feeling pretty good about it. It's about a niche topic so I don't expect it to get a lot of views, but that's the price of doin it 4 the culture

we did a photo shoot once--not, like, romantic, I think it was for Network World--and my friend @dethveggie.bsky.social asked if they could hide his identity (hacker antics might have interacted unpleasantly with realjob) and the photog was so psyched to pull out his bag of face-hiding tricks
