Two male Pileated Woodpeckers having some sort of dispute. A third individual was heard nearby, maybe a female. Red-breasted Sapsucker clinging to a tree. Saw this #bird today, a #redbreastedsapsucker. I don't think he should be pecking at the metal bits of the fence, though....
A (likely) male red-breasted sapsucker on a fence with a metal grid. He's seen in 3/4 profile, with a pointy beak, a really red head and breast, with white stripes on black wings. He's really cute.
