Exciting to see ENSA research featured by SWR @swr.de.web.brid.gy. In this short TV report, @ottlab.bsky.social and @henrietteruebsam.bsky.social explain how studies of nitrogen-fixing symbioses could inform future work in crops such as cassava and maize.

Producing videos for #ResearchCommunication involves more than just hitting record.

Each shoot requires adaptation to unique settings, and sometimes to an unexpected assistant. Our furry quality inspector gave no barking complaints, so we assume he was happy with the filming.

There are already many articles for which there is more attention on Bluesky than on other comparable micro-blogging sites, meaning the academic community and the general public have clearly adopted Bluesky as one of its core places to disseminate and discuss new research.

A Place of Joy.

"Everyone" isn't a target audience.

Using the same language for academics, policymakers, and the public risks alienating all three. Three things to consider 1. Define your audience. 2. Build audience segment personas. 3. Avoid needless jargon.
