Hello! I recently joined BlueSky. I've been working as an SLT for 15 months in an acute hospital on the adult inpatient wards. I completed my Level C Dysphagia competencies in March and I'm now working on my NQP competencies. I look forward to connecting with other #slpeeps here! #blueskyspeechies

Politics stuff... as you might know, has become a push factor for many Hongkongers. Many are moving to the UK and bringing their kids along.

Excited & grateful to have the opportunity to work on multilingual assessments, extending the work of colleagues in HK!

SLP-related research into all the conditions #SLPeeps treat just got a whole lot harder. Indirects are funds on top of a grant award that keep the lights on, fund staff, pay for supplies, buildings, internet, computer access, etc etc etc… hamstring them is a blow to research #SLP #bskySPEECHIES

This also is good accurate advice for #academic writing #slpeeps
"How do you write so much stuff?!"

The key to #writing, I’ve found, is writing. Without actually writing, it’s highly likely you’ll never have written anything.

Planning is not writing. Brainstorming is not writing. Reading is not writing.

Writing is writing.

Go write.
