I spent all day at work looking through hundreds of Linux kernel config options for various and sundry embedded subsystems in this ADLINK LEC-EL SMARC module. SMARC is a standard form factor that's traditionally been used for ARM system-on-modules. www.adlinktech.com/Products/com...

Maybe SMARC B1 (INI1)?

I overlooked that you allready stained for it ;).

"SMARC is based on the ultra-low power (ULP-COM) form factor which was introduced by the companies Kontron and Adlink in Feb. 2012. During the specification process by the SGeT the standard was renamed to SMARC. SGET approved the 1.0 specification in Dec. 2012." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_M...

I figured out something that had been bothering me since yesterday when I spent all day trying to figure out what all this large Linux kernel patch was supposed to be doing to a fairly involved Intel I2C/SMBus interface in order to support an Adlink board. Very strange. github.com/ADLINK/meta-...

That's patch for Yocto 5.0 "scarthgap", not our current Yocto 4.0 "kirkstone" (product is a network server / router customized for the avionics bay of airliners; very specialized use case!). What's the patch look like that we're using now? It's just 2 lines! github.com/ADLINK/meta-...

Seco Introduces SMARC Module for Industrial Edge AI
Seco has announced the SOM-SMARC-Dragonwing-IQ8, a SMARC Rel. 2.1.1 system-on-module (SOM) designed to help OEMs transition from Arduino-based prototyping to production-oriented industrial edge AI systems. Early hardware samples are available to select customers and partners for evaluation of AI-enabled robotics, smart machines, industrial vision, human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and machine-control applications. The module is based on the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ8 Series and is part of Seco’s collaboration with Arduino and Qualcomm Technologies. It is intended to provide continuity between development on the Arduino VENTUNO Q edge AI platform and deployment on industrial-grade embedded hardware.
