Why would a physicist say such a thing?
Because Wigner saw how math — the language of science — weirdly “works” in describing reality, yet remains powerless to explain why it works.
That paradox humbled him.

3/10: The paper examines how scientific paradigms, per Kuhn, are not merely theoretical but discursive constructs. They regulate acceptable methods and questions, reinforcing hegemonic knowledge regimes. #ParadigmTheory #SciencePhilosophy

I liked listening to David Deutsch here (for 10 minutes) talking about "good questions" vs "bad questions", and "good philosophy" vs bad. Some of his incidental conclusions I need to think more about, but it was stimulating.

A debate surfaced about prediction vs. explanation in science. Is there a trend towards prioritizing simulating full cells (prediction) over uncovering unknown mechanisms (explanation)?
