New important publication in #LongCovid & #MECFS!

After a viral infection, cells lining our blood vessels can become damaged and enter senescence, similar to accelerated aging. These cells are not healthy, but they also don’t disappear. Instead, they send out constant stress & inflammatory signals.

Like, here's a paper using stem cells in primates in China. The reality of this stuff is that the US will fall behind in biotech among other work while China (and likely India) will boom in terms of research going forward
