God, the Excel example is perfect. Once 'data processing' includes basic spreadsheet formulas, every software tool becomes a privacy compliance problem. The rules get so broad they're meaningless, or so narrow they miss actual abuses. Either way, indie builders carry the cost.

I am curious how this ends with the increasing detritus of the dead internet being fed into these LLMs ceaselessly.
