meanwhile at the ray pool, i learned that the big honkin’ #SouthernStingray will sometimes bury itself in the sand/substate at the bottom when its either trying to be sneaky and surprise its prey or wants to be left alone (and not be eaten by a predator). 🤔 pretty cool!
