The Jay/Sharpie melee did NOT help any. 🤣
Sharpie took a run at Mr. Pileated, he was less than impressed and glided to another tree.
It's a big ole #StickHappens - but - this is only the 2nd Pileated in my "new" yard ever...so you take the shot! #birds

Yep, in the UK last week I got some half-decent pics of a very distant green woodpecker but what I thought was going to be the best shot of all turned out to be a twig in sharp focus with a blurred bird behind it. #stickhappens
