This RAM+ card is driving me nuts. Keeps faulting on Bank 2 parity error randomly. Yanked the RAM, tests fine. swapped banks around. Yanked the 74 series chips, tested them in the TL866. Fine, i am kinda at a loss here.

The primary board here is a TL866 flash ROM adapter, BUT, if I screwed it up, I can cut it up into 3 other alternate-population PCBs, two oscillator modules and a LED test

I'm trying to figure out these chips. a lock, of some sort, seems to have been put on the contents, and the TL866 'cant' clear it. The datasheet is a bit awkward to follow, they do some strange remapping stuff.

As mentioned - EISA board comes out of reset, but nothing happens. OSC and CLK look good. (Excuse my sloppy ground clip). BIOS DUMPED! First time using the TL866. Neat.

I needed to program a 22V10 PAL and my TL866 wasn't up for the job so I used that as an excuse to get a new programmer. The new T48 is supposed to do 25V EPROMs too so that's a bonus.

I keep umming and arring about getting a multi-chip tester. Got a cheap 4116/4164 tester that helps, and use my TL866 for logic, SRAM, etc. Testing at faster speeds may be useful though.

That’s weird. At least on my TL866 it’s the other way around but I’ve never used the other programmers.
I wonder if this was an intentional change though because the locking handle would get in the way of the adapters sometimes on the TL866.

The next port of call is to look at the BIOS, it's very slow and does the memory count when the screen is off. The current EPROM is a 16k chip: a Toshiba TMM27128AD-15, it's not available in the tool for TL866/T48 setting it to this has let me dump the BIOS ROM:

I have dumped the 2764 EPROM labelled ‘MOS 2.0 0.4/10’ with my TL866-II+. To be on the safe side, I did this three times and compared the results with HxD.

Wow, very well spotted. I had completely overlooked that. I will try to read out the EPROM with my TL866. I will also try to image the hard drive before digging deeper.
