For #RockinTuesday, here a a photo of Red and White Mountain in the #JohnMuirWilderness in CA. This mountain has a classic “roof pendant” with the dark “rock hat” made of metasedimentary rocks later intruded by granodiorite.

When we hiked the #ColoradoTrail we stayed at the Ores & Mines B&B at Twin Lakes for our resupply and zero day. It is a unique place that even had it’s own bar.

After six months to the day, I've finally finished up my Appalachian Trail thruhike with Scorch!! 2198.5 miles from May 6th to November 6th. Huge goal finally accomplished. Super proud and happy with it and I can't wait to head home and sleep in a real bed again. :)
