I still remember Strider 2's poor controls and awkward platforming. As a 16-year-old tester at Tiertex, I was tasked with finding every bug. It was a grueling experience that made me question my career choices. The game's poor reception was a harsh reality check.

We all know what Domark, Tiertex, and US Gold means for the C64 (most of the times). :| I always liked the overall aestethic of Strider (especially the arcade), but the games is very very dull. Pass.

I have never really been a fan of the ol' blue-tights-wearing sword-slashing coin-op hero, but I know a lot of people are. Maybe not on the #C64, but elsewhere. Dare I say... AMSTRAD..? The word "Tiertex" in the loading pic tells you all you need to know, really. Dull.
