Regardless of its current form (unless it is quite baby of a settlement), it had to have been founded with a purpose in mind.

...and because last year it spilled over for a majority of folks, I'm also lumping the who into this question as well.

Who were the founders, and was this a transition from a lifestyle of settling from somewhere else? Interpret each prompt as suits your needs! Talk about relevant characters! Yap! Or don't! Nori steered them confidently through the people stream towards a hardware store with gleaming yellow windows. The earnest waft of oil and hot electrics was a welcome change after the icky plaza. Empty bar three or four old looking customers it offered a reprive from outside. They carried all sort of anachronistic tech. Palettes laden with flat hinged computers, glossy dataslabs and tablets. Even more bulky stuff like plasma conduits, small generators and ship-electronics Vela couldn't name. But the printed space-ship posters were hint enough. Vela found a crate with weather-instruments. Nihydron made digital sextant, very precise. She had heard of these in her master courses, but never seen one. The pricetag blew her enthusiasm away though, 700 Alliance credits was surely beyond her budget. Which was probably zero, far away from the Alliance's net. Vela hadn't thought of this till now.

The skirt had some shorts integrated and fitted neatly. There was even a hidden holster between the frills, a stark reminder of this station's state. Vela chose the snuggliest looking hoodie, not wanting to freeze out in the grey. It was black and adorned with a light cyan metal-band logo, illegible scribbles like fallen twigs and animal horns. Surely someone out there loved 'GhnzkyyZ'. It would do. She put her boots back on, well fitted, long traveled dark brown faux leather boots. At least something stayed the same. Nori had waited patiently in front. But she was wearing a grungy metal band cappy now. Belle had added some gaudy sunglasses to her already pretty urban fit. She now sported long black hair, falling over her shoulders, covering half her back. "Did you get a wig ?" - "Cyber-powers" she smirked. "but you might want a wig." she held up black wig with green strands. "No." Vela was at her sensory limit now. The fishnets felt all crawly on her legs. She couldn't possibly bear the feel of a wig on top of that.

I am still so annoyed that we get Radz-at-Han hyped up as a huge tradehub for the entire star for the entire course of the game and when we finally get there there's no marketboard, because it was the second hub city we got to so it gets the tome and scrip vendors.

A major hub for trading would be Tradehub Ishkolo. It houses various huge spacestations and a sort of (inter) galactic exchange and stockmarket. Especially the Tradeworlds and Mononobe like to utilize this. It sits at a major hyperlane hub, so every faction can get there easily. #CartAugust
Cloudgazer Galaxy map. Today in trade the lower right part is most intersting as it is well connected to the rest of the galaxy and maybe even beyond.

BAU (Feb 2): Preliminary work has begun on the Serikin Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security (ICQS) Complex. Deputy Minister of Transport Datuk Henry Harry Jinep said once completed, the Bau area is expected to become an increasingly important hub for trade, tourism, and investment.
