We would be better off installing something like UKNHS. Just bundle all government health spending (local. state. federal) and send the money to public hospitals and health clinics.

GP is threatening to offroll me unless I agree a harmful care plan that removes disability adjustments that were helping me access care. It seems there is no way to stop this
Any ideas? Anyone come across anything similar?

We would be better off adopting something similar to the UKNHS. Government in the USA already spends 7% of GDP on healthcare which is 80% of what the UK spends.

Yeh. How do we attach their incentives to our outcomes? Have you heard about UKNHS Outcomes Framework (NHS OF)? Pretty impressive what they've done for more than a dozen years, only paying for outcomes they choose. Medicare has been following that lead with long term care data. Small pushback.

Shockingly, nearly 70% of them were over 65.
When the elderly are left waiting a full day for care, the crisis isn't coming—it's already here.
