#USDOJ
The should just write a new law saying USDOJ reports to Congress now and Congress chooses the AG by a majority vote.

Would solve a lot of problems.

1. Update the Act to Establish the Department of Justice (Public Law 41-97, 16 Stat. 162) and make USDOJ report to Congress, not the President. Give Judiciary Committee ability to hire and fire US Attorneys.
2. Abolish DHS and ICE.
3. Cut off all Iran war funding.

You mean USDOJ has dismissed the counts? And the judge entered the order on DOJ's motion?

11. Abolish all Trump tariffs
12. Expand the Supreme Court to 27 justices minimum, having random panels of 9 justices hear each case
13. Establish a Nuremberg-like commission to investigate every official, every attorney (including USDOJ attorneys), and every corruption plot involving Trump

That’s TDOJ, not the USDOJ
November 5, 2026 at 7:29 PM
Only the DOJ can do that. And who currently STILL controls the USDOJ???

But apparently they are only sending 10 monitors, and local advocacy groups will have HUNDREDS of observers in place to keep an eye on them

Also, the overall level of competence among lawyers at USDOJ is substantially lower than it was two years ago; there are fewer of them; and more of them are engaged in defending against plaintiff lawsuits on myriad instances of illegal conduct by Trump. Makes post-election legal action harder.

The UN does not have the "files". They are with the USDOJ. It includes all investigative and seized materials from several properties that were searched such as CDs, videos, emails, documents, computer hard drives, USB drives, etc. It's not just a couple of file folders with papers inside.

The USDOJ will send approximately 10 monitors to polling sites in New Mexico’s most populous county on Election Day, county officials told Source NM on Thursday, amid the federal government’s recently announced expansion of its nationwide election monitoring effort.

This hearing - on Trumps golf course tree-cutting fiasco in DC - is absolutely mind-blowing. It's gone from deeply embarrassing for USDOJ to something that seems darker and much more serious. As a (former) lawyer, I'm actually horrified.
Judge Reyes just got really quiet. And then: we're taking a 15 minute break.

There’s a 100% chance someone at the USDOJ put the California voter rolls into Grok and asked it to give them a list of non-citizens, right?

Is there no limit to the depths the USDOJ will stoop to to protect a Pedo Felon President? It is amazing how they violate their Oath of Office on a daily basis.

So on the one hand, at least this guy has the backbone needed to apologize.

But on the other hand, why is a USDOJ AUSA repeatedly putting false quotations in his filings? This isn't just a one-time occurrence.

And why can't any of these agencies respond to a FOIA request after years?

In the SEIU v. USDOJ case, the one concerning an injunction to Trump regime to stop threatening election workers and officials with prosecution, a very unusual process is now occurring.
The Ninth Circuit consists of 29 judges total. When an en banc hearing is held, in the first instance only a […]
