In other news, the WCW Light Heavyweight Championship won't be vacant for long because there's going to be a tournament in January 1993.

Vacant land doesn't have to be developed just because it's vacant. Canada has vast areas of undeveloped land and that's a good thing in our way of respecting all forms of life.

Trump has to nominate them. They can block judges they don't like -- and they should absolutely block all Rs, and keep the seats vacant until a D POTUS in 2029

Can they seat judges?

This ground floor retail space in Emeryville at Hollis/Stanford was vacant for years, so the property owner subdivided it into multiple live/work units.

I wonder if this strategy could also work for vacant mixed-use retail spaces in other cities?

15 million vacant homes in the US, but the ones that stay vacant for more than a month or two are in places with no jobs, no services & no future. You *want* 5-10 percent of homes in your city to be vacant at any given moment, or no one can move when they switch jobs or want to upsize or downsize.

This is the way forward.
Neither investment properties nor derelicts should be allowed to stand empty for this long.
There are more vacant homes in the UK than there are homeless people.

I’ve been hearing a lot people complaining about vacant storefronts in the Pearl. The vacancies are overwhelmingly in the SITE Centers portfolio; hopefully the new owner is motivated to get these spaces leased.

Contemplated hosting a walking tour of Woodlawn's musical past, but then again almost none of the structures exist any more so why walk around & look at vacant land?

CoreCivic offered Minnesota its vacant prison for $75 million in 2025. A year later, Homeland Security bought it for $495.6 million. Amazing what being a Trump donor can do for your property value.

Why on earth did the Trump Administration pay $495.6 MILLION for a vacant prison in Minnesota when the company selling it had offered to sell the SAME prison to the state for just $75 million the year before?
"The company that owned a private prison in Appleton offered to sell it to MN for $75m

Year later, Trump agreed to use taxpayer $ to buy it from CoreCivic for $495.6m

The price difference, $420m, is more than was lost in much-publicized Feeding Our Future scandal" www.kare11.com/article/news...
