Took a trip to Dundee V&A then on to Broughty Ferry, was so disappointed that the amazing Italian gelato shop Visocchi was closed on a Monday😭
On the plus side it was a gorgeous day to sit by the silvery Tay and watch the world go by.

Thank you! Michael Visocchi was kind enough to give his approval, which was pleasing.

After the war, she returned to Canada and moved to Victoria, B.C. with her husband Alexander Reid.
She eventually received a pension for her wartime service, and compensation due to benefits for Indigenous soldiers being poorly managed.
She died on March 31, 2011.

Drift Wood :

Thanks for the repost! I've always been pleased with this one, not least because Michael Visocchi afterwards told me that I'd captured his thoughts when he created the artwork.

The second half though was deliberately difficult viewing. But the modern changes try to make it less misogynistic, give the female characters some posthumous victory. I'm not sure how successful that was. The acting though was excellent. Jodie was brilliant but so too were the rest of the cast.
