...most US wine volume is handled by liquor/wine combo wholesalers (biggest being Southern Glazer's and Republic National, etc.) Liquor wholesalers are further right than pure wine on balance; beer probably most right? Too much variation to say with authority, I guess.

With tariffs still on the table I imagine lots of Canadian manufacturers and wholesalers are looking to diversify their supply lines since anything that relies on US sources is going to be justifiably seen as unreliable

They will often die WHILE IN THE CARE OF THE STORE. Corporate does not care. It costs more to make arrangements with wholesalers to produce in the correct season than to write off a couple thousand hanging baskets.

CCA cables are dangerous & by definition cannot fit any CAT or ANSI/TIA standard. they’re considered a problem in the industry bc wholesalers looking to make a quick buck will sell them with claims they they’re up to standard: they’re not. also they’re a fire hazard

Great charts on sectoral impacts of benchmark revisions. Really really big hits to retailers, wholesalers, transportation/warehousing, and finance.
Benchmark revisions had large impacts in retail (-128,300 to Mar job level), leisure & hospitality (-153,000), wholesale (-114,700), prof & biz services (-126,000) and more
Notably, health care almost entirely unaffected.

Over time, other monthly releases including inventories for manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers should pick up the inventory increase implied by the huge import spike. But we don't have that data yet...it'll show up over coming months . Imports may also reverse (probably will).
