So no, Austin has not NEEDED a 10. A 10 is a clean and simple solution if all rlse stayed the same. Austin NEEDED more playmaking, and one totally legitimate solution is to get more playmaking from the team as a whole, through better roster building and stronger players on average at all positions.

Oh, I forgot to add the Olympus XA to my list. That rangefinder patch was tough to see. Also, I wasn’t a fan of the sliding lever for changing the f/stop. Finally, it was a challenge keeping fingers out of the frame.

I wonder how close that Orlando City/Alex Zendejas link was. It's a small sample size (630 min) but Zendejas has .39 xG and .46 xA so far, building off the strong Apertura season. (I'm pretty sure @tomh36.bsky.social can add more to how Zendejas has been this season better than I can)

I was also frustrated about the 800 iso limit, however, based on my understanding, the +1.5 mode is to add 1.5 stop exposure time, so it actually reduces the iso from 800 to ~250, also, many xa suffer from degrading light meter part, usually overestimate the needed exposure time…

The XA itself is a little more interesting, Philips billed it as an 8051 clone, but really it's a unique newer 16-bit architecture that takes some design hints from the 8051 to aid porting code. I wrote the core when Fearless was emulated. Icescape required me to add a few more opcodes to it.
