Let the #Amiga 500 Shenanigans Begin! I am putting together the ultimate 1990 Amiga 500 Video Workstation! My A570 CD-ROM has SCSI and 2 MB of RAM, the A500 has @LinuxJedi 2MB CHIP RAM upgrade. Now if I can just find a Genlock that does not totally suck I would be happy!
Bought my 2nd fountain pen, a Jinhao A570, purely because it looked nice, like something my dad would use when he worked at a law firm in the 90s. It doesn't have the heft of my brass Kaweco, so I have to press into the paper harder. But it came with a converter! I'll keep it at my office desk.

You can buy the SF-87 pickup from aliexpress still, but the wrong cables to fit the commodore cdroms.
Hopefully these will allow swapping to do so 🙂

There is indeed - I own two copies because I wanted one as my audio testing CD because it's a modern pressed disc that in well within tolerance for old 1987~1993 generations of optical drive (e.g. CD-ROM², LaserActive, CDTV/A570). :)
