We found some more fraud, waste, and abuse. The third government-funded Trump ad has been identified by AdImpact in recent days. The latest ad is nearly identical to a video Trump posted during his 2024 presidential campaign. It shows him walking down a hallway declaring, “This is the final battle.”

This is from AdImpact, the canonical outfit tracking political spending on advertising. Note that the "top advertiser" so far this year is the Department of Homeland Security, so the Trump administration's spending taxpayer dollars in support of the President.

from AdImpact, a nice chart of how Republicans' reliance on super PACs to fund their TV ad campaigns is heavily blunting the impact of their massive spending advantage, because FCC rules actually *require* stations to price-gouge the shit out of super PACs

New graphics from AdImpact vividly illustrate something we've emphasized repeatedly: The GOP's massive spending advantage is *not* translating into a comparable *advertising* advantage.

In #TXSen, e.g., the GOP has spent 66% of all ad money but aired just 54% of all ads adimpact.com/blogs/republ...

From AdImpact again. Talarico’s ad advantage is now 17:1, Crockett has still not gone up on TV, from what I can tell.

Early voting starts in 11 days.

A fantastic graphic from @donnermaps.bsky.social merging two sets of data from AdImpact.

The lighter-colored bars show the GOP's advantage in ad *spending* in key Senate races. The darker bars show its advantage in the number of ads actually aired.

The latter is considerably lower in most races.
