Adoption is completely changing someone’s life. No one has the right to do that. A child needing care when they are born or their family needing support does not mean the child’s entire life should be changed. #adoptionistrauma #humanrights

Watching posts of grandparent’s reactions meeting their grandchild for the first time - knowing my mom now, that’s how she would’ve reacted. That’s not how my adoptive parents reacted. My kids missed out on a loving grandmother. Adoption is generational trauma.
