A thoughtful thread from an author who recently moved her excellent newsletter of writing/agenting advice off Substack to Ghost
Here's the thing about leaving Substack, as a creator. First, the moral reasons to do so are easy. Platforming and promoting Nazis = bad. There's no argument there. There is no ethical consumption under capitalism but ok. (Stripe still runs Substack who platforms Nazis but also powers Ghost so....)
