I have used my 3D printer to create an entire arsenal of siege equipment and painted them accordingly. It includes four ladder elements, two battering rams, three siege towers, and four onagers (catapults). I will be using them with the excellent "Age of Hannibal" ruleset. #ageofhannibal #wargaming

I love the satisfaction of getting a block of 28mm infantry lined up on 20mm square bases. This is a group of Leves (not Velites) which will be used as levies for my Republican Roman warband for Saga: Age of Hannibal.

1/2 In May 2025 I played Romans vs Carthaginians with my gaming mate Jan at the Rhein-Main Tabletop Club, using the "Age of Hannibal" ruleset. I commanded the Romans, he led the Carthaginians. Each army consisted of 1200 points and was made up of 15mm figures. #ageofhannibal #littlewarstv #wargaming

"Age of Hannibal" has become my favorite rule set for ancient battles. I play it with my 15mm DBMM armies. For this, I combine two DBMM bases into one AoH base for the infantry. Since my DBMM bases are magnetized, I can easily attach metal plates underneath. #ageofhannibal #littlewarstv #wargaming

Even though I haven't been able to paint due to the #Drought and #ChronicIllnesses I have been able to get these 16 Hastati from #AventineMiniatures ready to join the paint queue. Rain is finally here though.

The joy of lining up 28mm figures with spears on 20mm squares so they can stand in formation....

1/2 In July 2024 an ancient evergreen was fought between me and a mate using the rule set "Age of Hannibal," as the armies of the venerable opponents Carthage and Rome clashed on the battlefield! Each army size was 1400 points, the figure scale was 15mm. #ageofhannibal #littlewarstv #15mm #wargaming

1/2 In August 2024, I played a solo game of "Age of Hannibal." I wrote the solo supplement to the rulebook myself. In a pitched battle, the armies of the Seleucids and the Roman Republic faced each other. Both armies comprised 1200 points, the scale was 15 mm. #ageofhannibal #littlewarstv #wargaming

1/2 In October 2024, I fought a battle between early Byzantines and Ostrogoths during the time of Justinian using my rule modification "Solo Age of Hannibal." I designed the army lists myself. Each army consisted of 1200 points and was made up of 15mm figures. #ageofhannibal #littlewarstv #wargaming

1/3 In August 2024, a special game of "Age of Hannibal" was played: It featured army lists from Late Antiquity that I designed, with Later Visigoths (420-720 AD) vs. Late Imperial Romans (250-500 AD). The armies consisted of 1200 points. The scale was #15mm. #ageofhannibal #littlewarstv #wargaming

1/3 In the current Slingshot magazine, issue 362, there is a battle report titled "An exciting battle between the classic arch-rivals, Carthage and Rome," using the Age of Hannibal ruleset, written by me. #ageofhannibal #littlewarstv #wargaming #15mm
