An interesting warning from one of the ponds in Alexandra Park in the Dennistoun area of Glasgow. As usual with such signs, it's the work of A Sign Of Humour.

It looks impressive now, but just think how much more impressive it would look if it were fully restored!

Happy Funky Forest Friday (sort of) #ForestFriday #ECK #Canon #Photography #EastCoastKin #Light #Nature #UrbanPark #AlexandraPark #Hastings #Summer #BackLit
A tree in Alexandra Park in Hastings, it’s a pine of sorts, tall, with some of its branches growing at geometrical angles as if they’ve been assisted to do so. There is a second photo of the same tree from a position. In both the sun is behind the tree, making the shot seem a little other worldly alongside the unusual growth pattern (to me anyway).

That along w/ a good portion of the seawall/ocean front plan could be done away with, easily. Unless the project is related to climate change remediation, reconsider! #AlexandraPark

Sunset just beginning over a large pond edged with trees. The sky is blue and the sun has silver-lined some small fluffy clouds. The pond is still and calm.

I am very grateful to my team of volunteers for speaking to residents at #AlexandraPark.

There is so much support for @bevcraig.bsky.social here in #AlexandraPark. Just over three weeks to go to make Bev our new Mayor of Greater Manchester. #VoteBevForUs
