To be clear: if we assume the doors he walks into and stares blankly at are exit doors despite the lack of registers or antitheft devices and their proximity to valuable items, he still is not stealing because he isn’t opening the door, and taking two steps away from a shelf isn’t stealing.

If anyone’s wondering how the motorcycle’s doing, it is in fact still in the shop, the problem turned out to be exponentially worse than originally diagnosed in an extremely stupid way (antitheft thing that reads a chip in your key to make sure it’s a Real Triumph Key has stopped reading the chip)

Every bike remaining is now double locked + a bunch of other security measures we added over the weekend. Bummer to have to think about and do all of this, but glad there are good options out there to ensure the bikes are extra secure.
