An abuse of #Schengen #EU movement of people can lead to an individual personal life ban. For every EU member state. This was part of the Article50 withdrawl agreement the #Tories fought so vehemently for. #RejoinEU 🇪🇺🇬🇧

Article 50 wasn't delayed. High-risk systems were. Your chatbot disclosure, content watermarking, and deepfake labels are due Sunday, August 2, 2026, with fines up to €15M or 3% of global revenue. #EUAIAct #AICompliance #AITransparency #Article50 #AIGovernance
The EU AI Act’s Transparency Rules Just Went Live
Most Managers Think They Got Cancelled I had a call with a compliance officer at a company that sells software apps into Europe. Smart person. Experienced team. They've been preparing for the EU AI Act for over a year. She told me they stood down their Article 50 work in early July after reading that the AI Act had been delayed.

#Burnham. Wife and I discussing that if #UK is not going to give us our #EU citizenship back, then we’ll leave. Not possible she retorted. We left in complete disgust with #Brexit in 2017, just in time to secure Article50 permanent residency and reciprocal healthcare.

A claim you cannot verify is just marketing. "Trust us" won't cut it after 2 Aug 2026, when EU AI Act Article 50 applies. Ship tamper-evident, independently verifiable, cryptographically anchored evidence. Proof, not promises.

What is proof? Tamper-evident, independently verifiable, cryptographically-anchored receipts of AI transparency. We store hashes, never prompts. We don't issue the verdict — your auditor does. Proof, not promises.

Gradually, we're all becoming legal and permanent.
Article50 Rules, OK.
July 3, 2026 at 5:50 PM
True, but we also can't allow ourselves to be taken out again without a clear majority in favour.

So I was thinking along the lines of enforcing a referendum no more than 12/24 months before triggering article50, with a minimum 60 or 70% threshold requirement either way.

Dave says yes.
Dave says what we have now gives the UK the exact same benefits as EU membership.
Dave sees no reasons to apply for anything.

Corbyn wanted article50 (?) lodged the day after the vote - and I'm sure his comment was recorded somewhere, online. Before that, he was MIA

Corbyn wanted to implement Article50 even quicker than party in Govt
Never saw Corbyn at any of the Pro EU marches before Brexit but I did see Lib Dem
leader nor did I see many posters Labour against Brexit though I did meet many Labour supporters. I did see lots of Lib Dem pro EU pro Remain ones

#EU Article50 gave no room for #UK to deny its own citizens benefits of freedom of movement residency if already living there before #Brexit cut off date. We got out just in time. #RejoinEU

An answer with questions.
Did Jeremy go on holiday during the referendum campaign?
Did he break Labour whip to vote for a referendum in 2011?
Did he impose a 3 line Labour whip on Article50?
Did he attend a march of a million people?
Live and learn I suppose.

Jeremy Corbyn's views on Brexit: a long held stance on Europe
Is Jeremy Corbyn pro-European Union or a Eurosceptic? Is he for Remain or Leave? He's got a long record back to the 1970s which tells us.

Yes and no.

I can see paths from a Leave victory in the referendum that didn't lead to invoking #Article50, but they would have required honesty and courage, two things Westminster is, and was, desperately short of.

So, in that way, it was inevitable, once the referendum result was in.

So stupid.
