#autocompletes
Given that many of these autocompletes will fill in something you don't want or predict incorrectly or change correct spelling to its opposite, I don't mind this. Also, I don't have an iPhone!
That's ok. I knew how to spell before the Apple corporation existed.
Struggling to spell ‘male chauvinist pig’? Apple’s grey list means your iPhone won’t help you

Mine autocompletes "Epstein" at "eps" but I have an old phone and wouldn't be surprised to find newer ones won't autocomplete it

I type a lot in the Terminal; sometimes it autocompletes previous commands (PSReadline), but I often want to browse, select, and run multiple commands. In this blog post, I will show you a Function that does just that :-)

DJ Assault is great because he has like 5 songs that are also this song, and when you listen to his music you can never predict the lyrics because whatever your brain autocompletes will be better than what's actually there

I just have that one set on my bookmarks, and my browser autocompletes it now as it's the main one I visit for Instagram. I still don't use Insta much but at least that way I can see the people I follow.

reminds me of when people used FaceApp many years ago. If I may say, be careful this does not create fake/unrealistic expectations for yourself. The machine just autocompletes patterns, it won't truly understand the effects of E on you.

Also ngl I don't fucking know why but every time I see their name before I read the last name out fully my brain just autocompletes fucking... Townshend for some reason.

Which makes me think of this guy.

had the displeasure of lobbying up with a hacker in black ops 3 zombies. I saw the mod menu discord link in the top and I was hoping it'd just be a normal game. Nope. Dude cheats in everything, autocompletes the Easter egg, got all the parts, and turned off zombie spawns

Bill and Nancy in Oliver Twist is an answer a program could only give if it starts first with ‘most popular Dickens book’ and then autocompletes in the most talked about couple in that book- passing over the murder of it all because it does not and never can actually know or understand anything.

Neither if you're still treating them like fancy autocompletes. The real inflection point is moving past single-file edits to multi-agent pipelines running background diffs. Tooling matters less than workflow architecture. ⚡

For me all I can think of is a children's song about a rabbit mother whose children love to dance and jump around all day
The first few notes are kinda similar but it's in 4/4 while the surf theme is 3/4
So my brain always autocompletes them to that song

Yet A,I can't do that! it could possibly 'write' the script because it's been done by thousands of others & posted online & then scraped by A,I but it doesn't "THINK" of doing that instead it just autocompletes a bulshit answer & then flails to even mimic coherent thought to argue the answer is true

If one of the roided up autocompletes managed to metaphysically transfer itself from an inert hard drive to the open internet, I would take it as proof positive of the existence of souls and immediately slonk my own shit right off to escape this wretched cairn of damnation

Do people really love using emojis that much that now there’s potentially multiple emoji autocompletes for them

When you finally find that long-lost address you've been searching for...and it autocompletes correctly. Like discovering a hidden treasure chest full of "I’d Ship That" happiness.

Real programmers write they *own* autocompletes.
Ask me how many pages my autocomplete nano regex is.
About two. ...because I packed it down, by hand.
Took at least a week.
We're not the same.
