Huh. badblocks, at least whatever version is on the system I threw together for the NAS, seems 32-bit constrained. Can't run it against the 10TB drives. That's actually kind of funny.

I ran badblocks on one of my hard drives and it found 400 million bad blocks (out of 500 million on the disk). I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that's part of what's causing my problems.

All 4 drives long tested OK! Now burning them in with a badblocks run. Today’s silly Yote Trick: started the runs via SSH on my phone while watching a concert where a friend is performing. I know it’s silly, but still neat XD
