Highlights of a stop-starty 60km circumnavigation of Newport: Reed Warbler and Whitethroat at Uskmouth; Whitethroat at Saltmarsh Lane; Sedge Warbler, Yellow Wag, Ruff, 40 Knot, and Pinky at Goldcliff Pools; Reed Warbler just E of the pools, plus the odd hirundine at Langstone, Caerleon, etc.

Couple of hours #birdingbybike this morning.
51 sp, 7x Goldeneye, 60x Lapwing, GWE, Stonechat and 5x returning Oystercatcher the highlights. Most of the over-wintering ducks moved on, still a few Wigeon and Pochard left.
