I am categorically unable to say that this was ‘fun’…priming (I used an SMS lacquer) & then painting (XF59 as shown) this pile of resin 3D-printed parts…next up is painting the rubber tyres on the wheels that need it & assembling all the bogies & other parts…if 3D-printed kits are the future…🫣🤯😊

I also thought about Eschede and the discussion that followed on whether TGV style bogies could have prevented the “accordion effect”. Good to see that this didn’t happen here and the rear coaches stayed on the line.
