The looming cut in #businessrates relief is a huge blow for #retail and #hospitality.

For a great many 75% slashed to 40% is business-changing on its own, even without NI and other changes.

The relief should not have been cut before the broken system was fully reformed as promised.

Real concerns that the Government’s U-turn on the #BusinessRatesBetrayal will be a wholly inadequate sticking plaster.

The unfair & dodgy revaluation MUST be scrapped or bills will still spiral.

#Pubs need the promised genuine & PERMANENT reform of unfair & outdated #BusinessRates system.
