My husband is having a bad day after his third treatment for colo-rectal cancer. He's the most wonderful man in the world & I'm devastated that these murderers are eliminating the experts we pray will help keep him alive! Families like ours are fighting already! How are these fuckers in charge?!!!

The reason why I like my colo-rectal surgeon as much as I do is he told me straight up that if I'm tired or fatigued to take a nap.

Doctors have largely bought into "you have to DO" and I'm not so sure that's great advice for healing. Your body is saying its tired? Listen to it.
I just want to remind everyone out there that rest is an actual thing you do and when you do it you aren’t doing “nothing,” you’re doing something essential to your health and wellbeing and also essential if you want to do *anything else.*

Love hearing positive stories like yours! I’m currently doing chemo for colo/rectal cancer that has metastasized to my lungs. The battle is real…but I too am grateful for the science of it all.
