As I've said many times, there may be some cases where I think the reactions went too far personally, but I've never seen a case of "cancel culture" that wasn't just people exercising their own rights of speech/association.

Currently, it is literally algorithmically set up to silence progressive views and promote conservative views, much of which is naked disinformation. And the counterspeech gets deprioritized.
