bhyve inside a jail sounds like a stunt. It isn’t.
FreeBSD has supported it since 12.0, and it turns the hypervisor into one more manageable jail: delegated ZFS, VNET, vm-bhyve, devfs rules and all.

There will likely eventually also be a devfs and procfs, implemented through drivers, because I want this to be as close to POSIX-compatible and UNIX-feeling as I can get it, in the future.

Early Slackware was close to Unix. It was very close to the same thing, in what you were doing. I mean, what was underneath was different, but what you did with it was similar.
