As a stress reliever over the last week or two, I made a small quilted cross body bag for summer using fabric from my stash. This now gives me license to buy more fabric. 😄

Quilt show #2. I am calling this quilt "Everything but the squeal" since I used all but a few small scraps from the first quilt. I pieced a band for the backing center to have enough!
Quilted the triangles with an echo pattern, made small triangles "tossed" into the border, and the rest stipple.
The "everything but the squeal" quilt using leftover triangles. The triangles were mirror images, so the layout wibble wobbles as the direction changes. Pieced backing to literally make ends meet. Using leftover 5x5 inch precut quilt squares, I was able to match twelve squares to make this pinwheel ornament. Church bells and wreaths are mixed with small repeating patterns. The colors are dark green, burgundy, light beige, dark tan, with some white accents. The 4-hole buttons on both sides are vintage 1 and 3/8 inches

A 16 point fabric pinwheel Christmas ornament made of leftover five-by-five inch precut squares from three different charm packs I have bought over the years. Plus, some green as well as red plaid remnants bought at a local quilt show. If you sew, you always have 'leftovers' and unlike food you can save them and use them over several years.
