I’ll go first Fenofibrate.

You’re lucky! Mine never stops, if it’s not cholesterol he’s not interested. I refused statins but he didn’t give up and so I’m now on fenofibrate which seems ok.

That’s what the statin or fenofibrate is for!

Scientists studying over 1,000 people found that lingering SARS-CoV-2 in the gut may block peroxisomes, leaving intestinal stem cells unable to repair the lining.

Existing drugs like fenofibrate may help restore healing.

I am not a doctor and obviously do not know if this would work for you, but for what it's worth: I will never take statins for reasons that you are extremely aware of right now, so I'm currently taking Fenofibrate and Zetia to control cholesterol and triglycerides. No side effects from either.

Why Fenofibrate attenuates peripheral neuropathic pain by suppressing neuroinflammation matters more than you think.

Oh good. My doc switched me from a fenofibrate to a statin because it’s cheaper, and now my insurance won’t pay for my birth control pills because of the statin. Guess I’ll just have debilitating PMDD then.

I’ve always refused them. I’m on a different thing now, Fenofibrate which I am taking. Mine isn’t actually that high but my GP is obsessed with it! I’m having the special lung scan next week to check for lung cancer. I’ve had it done twice already as I took part in research for it.
