But Elmo clearly hasn't read Stranger in a Strange Land, or he wouldn't be attributing 'grok' to Douglas Adams / HHGTG. And don't even get me started on him thinking that 'Bladerunner' is Rick Deckard's name, rather than his profession.

Made me imagine the Hitchhikers game I'd like. A reboot of the text adventure, still a pure text adventure, all his words + the words of some good comedy writers to expand it. But there's no tough puzzles or death, you just get to hang out in the HHGTG world. That's what I think I always wanted.

the thing with the HHGTG books is that they are mostly jokes
like, there IS a plot, but it is a vehicle for jokes
and there are a lot of great jokes! I love them very much! but as actual structured books there isn't much there
