Maybe this is overly optimistic, but it also feels like a sign that Republican internals are dismal. If it were close, they would try to tip the scales.

Anyway, Stevens is doing this because AES’s internals are good enough that he can tell her to take a hike instead of negotiating with her. This has the stink of a loser and the strong taste of sour grapes, and I think like 99% of the voters we need to care about in this race will see that.

You can say the polls are wrong but it’s very clear that the internal polling the GOP has is as bad or worse than the public polling (and keep in mind that internals tend to be biased *towards* the candidate commissioning them, ie bad internals are likely understating the degree of badness)
I am seeing some of you doomposting "oh Dems will get 50-51 seats" and I'm inclined to doom too but it seems important that the Republican Party itself is terrified about, like, Louisiana and Kansas
If I’m getting flooded with these calls, so are others across Louisiana. MAGA is panicking tonight, fighting to save a Senate seat in Louisiana of all places.
