JavaScript Frameworks - Heading into 2025
I admit I wasn't sure I'd be writing this article this year. It's easy to write articles that excite...

LLM models are the new JavaScript frameworks.

We stopped shipping new JavaScript frameworks every week so now I guess we're shipping new AI browsers every week.

Fireship is right, JavaScript frameworks pretty much all do the same thing now

So, it's about the vibes

Svelte is optimised for vibes 🥰

I've been streaming for about 3 years, pre-recorded conference talks/demos, but making a video was a completely different experience. But here is my first attempt at one.

HTML. CSS. JavaScript.

Long ago, the three nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when The Frameworks attacked.

I really need some of these LLM frameworks and harnesses to die so the good ones can live. Every six weeks it’s like “use langchain! no, use polychain! Use OpenClaw! No use OpenCode! With Superpowers!” etc etc. And of course all look slick from the README. It’s worse than JavaScript frameworks

web components and javascript frameworks are complementary technologies!
Choosing Web Components does not mean opting out of frameworks like React. It’s like saying you can’t use a framework due to the presence of a certain HTML element

Back when web development wasn’t an incomprehensible menagerie of constantly deprecating JavaScript frameworks.

the cool part about everyone doing everything with claude code is gonna be you'll pine for the days of 100 javascript frameworks because now every single project is a bespoke framework written by a goblin who is a product manager

Gangs of youths are organizing themselves and creating needless Javascript frameworks. I'm glad that action is being taken to stop it at the source 😂

Python makes package mangers as much as JavaScript makes frameworks

Nous sommes en 2025 et les RHs confondant Java et JavaScript existent toujours.

I must admit that nothing about computers, since I'm in love with the field, was so uninteresting as the Javascript different fashions, waves, frameworks, rewrites, hypes. And I'm one that loves almost every shit programming related.
