Yep, a gente pode se programar para os "LTS" a cada 2 anos, JDK17, 21, 25, 29, 33... e ir conhecendo tudo no meio do caminho. Por exemplo, JDK24 sai em 18/03/2025 e já sabemos o que vai ter dentro: openjdk.org/projects/jdk... e o que já está _hoje_ em early access JDK24 build 24: jdk.java.net/24/.

due to switching JDK11 to JDK17 for Exadata software, but the default JDK was 1.8 and should not be touched:

We build our projects on JDK17 with maven.compiler.release set to 8. running @openlibertyio.bsky.social with server_env to a JDK8 live recompile fails as the „—release flag“ is used by the libertyplugin, which ofc does not exists on 8. Anyone has an idea to force liberty uses target/source for it?
