I've been asked to revise this historiographical essay on Jesuit devotional literature, which came out 10 (!) years ago. So, if you know of any new-ish books or articles that I should include, let me know!

As sports days are taking place across the UK over the coming weeks, a reminder that Jesuits have also enjoyed a good tug of war, as shown in this image taken at Heythrop College in the 1960s.

Any guesses as to which side won?

Tomorrow sees the ordination of Chris Brolly to the priesthood.

As we prepare for this joyful occasion, we share these images from an ordination 60 years ago in 1966.

Please keep Chris in your prayers as he takes this next step in ministry.
